
Michelle is a counsellor, yoga instructor, Reiki practitioner and self-care strategist who supports clients in sourcing their own advocate and carer from within. A Registered Social Services Worker (RSSW) with additional certifications in vinyasa yoga, restorative yoga and Yoga Tune Up®, Michelle offers private and small group counselling and yoga instruction. She can also be found facilitating workshops in professional settings on topics such as self-care, stress management and an intuitive approach to wellness.

Michelle draws on theories of positive psychology, self-compassion, and mindfulness while also taking a keen interest in neuroscience and psychosomatic modalities. Whether supporting clients with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image, disordered eating, eating disorders, athletic performance or chronic illness, Michelle’s core values of service, kindness, presence, and empathy are foundational to her work with others.
A practitioner with Health at Every Size ® informed and social justice perspectives, Michelle recognizes that everyone’s well-being is impacted by identity and circumstances. It is from these perspectives that Michelle is committed to partnering with clients from an anti-oppressive framework. Always the student and a firm believer that learning never stops, Michelle is currently pursuing her Masters in Social Work as she continues to offer her services here.
